For a few months now there has been a team of wonderful and creative women coming together via Zoom to plan what was originally going to be our Fall Women’s Retreat. Well, I don’t have to tell you that we had absolutely no idea what that was going to look like this year. All we knew was that we wanted to do something special with our PCC sisters.
We want you to check your schedules and set aside a few hours to hopefully laugh, cry, be encouraged, inspired, and challenged during a difficult season. Text a couple of Portland Christian Center girlfriends and make plans to come together on:
Saturday, October 17, 9:00 AM-Noon
in the Portland Christian Center Chapel
Cost: $15 for Chapel seating with a goodie bag delivered to your door in advance of our gathering.

Online Home Gathering – free (no goodie bag)
$15 goodie bag if you sign up by October 14.
The online gathering will require being a part of Facebook, but we can help you with that if it is an obstacle. Ask to join Portland Christian Center – women.pdx group.
We will have 3 powerful and engaging speakers that will share from the Word of God. They are 3 faces that you may not be familiar with yet but you will get to know them a bit that morning.
- Courtney Meleen (she and her husband Jason oversee our High School Group)
- Sherrie Bernheisel (she and her husband Rick oversee our College and Young Adult Ministry)
- Tracy Seger (she and her husband Mark are our Urban Missionaries)
We will have a fun “how-to” by Darcie Gillock that will help us make all this time spent at home a little sweeter, or maybe a little spicier?!
Our retreat committee this year is Angie Paulson, Deb Loop, Debbie Reedy, Darcie Gillock, Tara Boyd, Sarah Parker, Sheri Kaetzel, JoAnn Phillips, and Terri Eastburn.
There will be social distancing and mask-wearing and entrance and exit strategies that we will go over with you before you arrive. For now, we’re just excited to see you even if from a 6' distance with a masked face. In order to personalize your goodie bag please pic a scent below that would bless you:

- Lavender: not only smells great but can help naturally calm the body in a pinch

Because of COVID restrictions and regulations there will be no childcare available. This event will be for women over the age of 18.
