Grow Track

Grow Track is a four-step experience for anyone interested in taking the next step in their journey with God.

Whether you want to learn more about God or get connected in the church through volunteering, Grow Track will help you discover your God-given purpose and equip you to make a difference in your community and the world!

Portland Communities

Portland Communities are small groups for men, women, marriage & family, singles, young adults, youth, bible study, live free, and various activities.

Portland Communities are a great environment for growth, connection, and a place where our mission as a church is best lived out: to move closer to God through a saving, growing, and transforming knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Young Adults

We are a community of Young Adults (18–29) that seeks to make a difference by faithfully serving God’s purposes. This is a place to connect, grow deep in faith and engage in community with each other. Join one of our College/Young Adult small groups by visiting the Portland Communities page here. In our small groups, you will find a relaxed environment and rich friendships with other people your age and season of life. For more information on upcoming events and outreach opportunities within our ministry, please contact Pastor Rick at rbernheisel@pcctoday.com.

Young Families

We exist to promote and support the social and spiritual well-being of young families. Activities cater to young families, both with and without children, and serve to renew faith, enrich marriage/family life, and build Christian community through Bible study, life skill classes/coaching, social gatherings and family outings.

Our regular gatherings:

Sunday, 9:00 AM

Encounter: Singles

The goal of Portland Singles (30’s & 40’s) is to facilitate connections between you and God and to unpack what God has to say about how you can thrive in life. The goal of this gathering is connection. We grow when we study the Word of God, commit to applying it to our lives, and do life together.

Our regular gatherings:

Friday, 7:00 PM

Men

Portland Men exists to empower and motivate men to live out God’s view of manhood and be the best leaders, husbands, and fathers God has called them to be. Our weekly groups and events provide men with resources to develop Godly character and equip them to influence their world for Jesus Christ.

Our regular gatherings:

Tuesday, 9:15 AM
Wednesday, 7:00 PM

Women

Portland Women is a beautiful, multifaceted group of women from different backgrounds and seasons of life. As women who understand that we are magnificently designed on purpose by our Creator and that connected and united as one, we are stronger and shine brighter…revealing the light of heaven in our homes, communities, and the world! It is our desire to bridge women to Christ through weekly groups and events by studying God’s Word together and equipping women to use the gifts and talents God has given them.

are you free?
Do we know we have already been rescued and have hope?

So many of us claim to know the gospel, but sometimes we can forget what it actually means for our lives. In The Good Gospel, we will be reminded that:

  • Because of the gospel, we can experience life with God.
  • Because of the gospel, we are free from sin and death.
  • Because of the gospel, we have an eternal hope no matter what happens.

In this six-week study with Jennie Allen, Jamie Ivey, and Jackie Hill Perry, we are going to explore the foundation of our faith to discover how God brings us from death to life, from fallen to free.

For questions about how to join, please contact Terri Eastburn for further information at teastburn@pcctoday.com.

Active Adults

We are an active group of people ages 55 and over who enjoy monthly and year-round activities that foster community and discipleship.

Worship

Portland Christian Center’s worship community leads the church in worship through music. We believe that music is a language that communicates the joy and hope of the Christian life. It is an expression of our worship and devotion to the one true God. There are opportunities for you—no matter your age—to use your gifts and talents instrumentally and vocally to glorify God.

Missions

Taking the whole gospel to the whole world!
God is always working to extend the whole gospel to all people and all places. Graciously, He has allowed Portland Christian Center to participate with Him in this mission. And now we are expanding our reach into new areas around the world and providing new ways for the Portland Christian Center family to get involved.
