Practice Hope | Part 3

C.S. Lewis said, “We delight to praise what we enjoy because the praise not merely expresses but completes the enjoyment … If it were possible to give our delight for God perfect expression, our soul would be in supreme blessedness.” Well, that is possible! God created us for that. We were created to worship God with our lives and our lips, and to fully enjoy him forever. And when we passionately lose ourselves and passionately express ourselves in praise, God is fully glorified in us and we’re fully satisfied in him. We experience that “supreme blessedness” in life! That is why we need to practice praise at all times—to sing and make music from our heart to the Lord.
