Prayer Wall

Welcome to the Prayer Wall! There are times when life is overwhelming when all we have is questions. In those moments, hope can feel far away. The great thing about prayer is that it shifts our perspective toward the One who stands ready to listen.

In the section below, you can both submit prayer requests and pray for the others. As you pray, click on the “I Prayed For This” button to encourage those requesting prayer. If you need immediate prayer or someone to talk to, our pastor-on-call is available for you at (503) 245-7735. No matter what you’re facing, we’d love to pray with you!

You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

Update on Colleen...all information second hand: The ventilator had to be reinserted yesterday since she struggling to breathe on her own. The doctor called Steve a few minutes ago and said that the ventilator can only stay in place for 14 days (from the first date she was ventilated or from yesterday?) and at the end of that time the way forward is to do a tracheotomy but he couldn't guarantee that it would work. He's basically asking Steve if he wants to maintain life by doing the trach. We need a miracle!

Please pray for my grandson Elijah, 13 year-old has Covid and in the hospital. They are monitoring his heart due to his blood pressure being low. He has inflammation, but the doctor doesn’t know where the inflammation is located. He has been in bed for seven days now, although he is feeling better he is exhausted. Please pray for his healing with no complications. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering our prayers.

I have a working session job interview with a panel on Friday where I'll present three concepts to a group and answer questions. Please pray for the ideas to come together and for the QA to go smoothly. I need a job and a place to live, as my lease ends at the end of Feb. All of this is happening in the midst of a sudden, unexpected death in my family; everyone is grieving, and I'm the only believer. Please pray that God would minister to them across cultures, as I'm a first-gen. immigrant, and they haven't been open to Jesus in the past. I need to focus on my presentation while still processing this death, and I need a supernatural, miraculous favor and energy. Thank you.

Update on Colleen: The ventilator has been removed. She still seems to me to be not completely free from the coma, or she is still being sedated. We have been face timing her and she is not yet talking. She will be in the Neuro ICU for a couple more days and then be moved to a ward for possibly 2 to 3 weeks. She will then likely go to a rehab facility. I'm beginning to be worried; I expected her to be more alert and trying to talk by this time. On Monday I'm going to try to talk to her doctor to get his assessment and a prognosis. Thank you for praying for my child.

An update on Colleen: She is still not fully conscious but Steve was allowed to face time with her last evening. One of the things he said to her was "If you can understand me, please flutter your eyelids" and she did. Steve is very encouraged by that. Please pray that she will be completely restored to her former self.
