PT. 4 Romans 4

Pastors Nate and Miel taught us that in Romans 4 God has the power and desire to justify all, even the ungodly. How do we know? Paul uses two examples, Abraham and David. These two characters illustrate the truth that we are not justified by our works but by faith in God alone. Their faith made them right with God. The work of sanctification, the ongoing work in our lives is the fruit of justification, not the root. In other words, all of the good things we do cannot save, they are a result of justification by faith alone in Christ alone.
