Seven “I Am” Statements of Jesus

Sundays | 10:30 AM | In-person and Online

Have you ever tried to describe yourself? If so, you may have said things like; funny, smart, hardworking, focused, scattered, or even “the life of the party.” However, how you describe yourself is like a window into who you are. Many people miss that Jesus does this for us in scripture!

Jesus uses seven different metaphors to help us understand him better. Why is this so important? The more you understand someone, the greater your capacity to love and be impacted by them. Like in any relationship, the more knowledge you have, the greater impact that person can have on your life, and the greater capacity you have to love them. This series will challenge you, grow you, and help you become more like Jesus as you follow Him.

Next steps

Our mission at Portland Christian Center is to make disciples, because that’s Jesus’ mission. And if it’s Jesus’ mission… it’s our mission!

We want you to discover how to grow in your relationship with Jesus and connect with others at Portland Christian Center. No matter where you’re at there is a starting point for you here at PCC.

Our vision is to Love God, Present Hope, and Develop People—and there’s no better way to begin than at the Starting Point!

Need Prayer?

There are times when life is overwhelming when all we have is questions. In those moments, hope can feel far away. The great thing about prayer is that it shifts our perspective toward the One who stands ready to listen. No matter what you’re facing, we’d love to pray with you!
