PDX YTH is for
Middle & High School Students

PDX YTH is a community of adventurous, engaging, and encouraging teenagers who love Jesus and love people. This ministry consists of a dynamic youth program on Wednesday nights. We are all about helping students realize how amazing Jesus is, creating a life-giving and fun atmosphere, and building community while doing life together.

Parent FAQs

It is my student's first time attending Portland Youth – How will they know where to go/what to do?
PCC Youth leaders are pumped to connect with first time guests! So much so, we roll out the red carpet – literally!
At each venue, we have an energetic team of volunteers that are ready to host your student and help them know where to go and what to do! They’ll give tours of the facility, make introductions to other students and leaders!
After checking in with us, your student will experience a service full of fun, high energy worship and a message that is focused on God’s unchanging love for them!
How do I keep up with all that is happening with Portland Youth?
The best way to know what’s happening with Portland Youth is by following us on Instagram, Twitter and/or Facebook. We’re constantly posting updates about what is happening, what is coming up and what we love the most: sharing what God is doing in the lives of students at Portland Christian Center!
We also have a parent email that is sent out on a monthly basis that keeps you in the know of what’s going on each month. If you’re not already getting this email, please contact us with the form above.
How can I be involved with Portland Youth?
We never get tired of hearing this question! Portland Youth works because of the dedication and heart behind every one of our volunteers! We offer a variety of areas in which you can serve, such as room hosts, Small Groups, Portland Youth Cafés, security, and more.
To get started, we ask that every potential volunteer complete Grow Track. Upon completion, one of our staff members will contact you on next steps to serving in the youth ministry.
How are Small Groups arranged?

Each week, our small groups meet in our youth services, and are designed to help students grow in their walk with God, we are also committed to their safety and overall experience with this incredible community of like-minded believers. Every adult who hosts groups have gone through a background screening approval process and are also approved by one of our Portland Youth pastors.

Can I come with my child?

If you would like to check out one of the Portland Youth services with your student, stop by our student check-in desk and one of our team members will be happy to assist you.

Are students allowed to leave the building?

For their safety, once a student checks in with Portland Youth, we ask that they remain in the venue until the official dismissal from service is given. Once service is over, students are welcome to leave and meet their parents/guardians at your designated meeting place. Our youth leaders also help students be where they should be during our Sunday and Wednesday services.
