This Sunday’s message, Pastor Nate shared that unity is God’s design for His Church. In the book of Ephesians, chapter 2, Paul reveals that Jews and Gentiles are now one in Christ. This is great news! Jesus has made a way for all of us to become part of the family of God. The challenge for all of us, is that in order to be united together, we must be anchored in Christ. Why is this a challenge? The reason is, people often disengage over differences, rather than uniting around Christ and His foundation for unity. Today, we are taught that diversity is not the enemy, it’s actually to be celebrated and surrendered to the Lordship of Christ so that we can walk in unity the way God intended us to be.
