Join us as we embark on a journey of faith!
Creating a lasting legacy for generations by investing in the present and future of Portland Christian Center.
Casting the Vision
Portland Christian Church has been a beacon of hope in the Portland Metro area for 100 years, transforming lives. Rooted in our vision of Loving God, Presenting Hope, and Developing People, we seek to empower every generation to boldly embrace their God-given purpose. Following the 2024 flood that damaged key parts of our facility, we felt led to not only restore what was lost but also to refresh areas long in need of renewal. Through the Building on Faith campaign, we are stepping forward in faith, not just to raise funds but to deepen our collective faith and generosity, ensuring our church continues to reach and impact future generations with God’s love.

WHY NOW?
The time is now because we are passionate about providing a place for every person from every generation to experience God’s transforming love. The love of Christ compels us to seek and save the lost as Christ has called us to do. We believe that people are the prize and that Portland needs our church to shine brighter than ever!
When people walk through our doors, we want them to feel as if they are being welcomed home!
What can we do now? It starts with prayer. Pray in faith, and let’s consider what Zachariah 4:7 (NKJV) says,
“Who are you, O great mountain?
Before Zerubbabel, you shall become a plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone with
shouts of “Grace, grace to it.”
This verse reminds us of the power of God’s mountain-moving grace. We will face challenges head-on, trusting that with God’s grace, mountains will be leveled, and paths will be made straight.
NEXT, ask the Lord how you can financially partner to raise the money to accomplish the Building on Faith Campaign. What is the Lord leading you to give over the next two years?
These are historic days for Portland Christian Center. It is our great hope that we will come together in unity, to partner with what God is doing to continue building a prevailing church in Portland that will shine the light of Christ across the street and around the world.
Let’s declare “Grace, Grace!” and build on faith, knowing our time is now! As we take bold steps forward, prayerfully ask God this important question…
“Lord, what do you want to do through me?”
