We are jumping back into the book of Exodus this summer. Moses has just led the children of Israel out of slavery in Egypt and for the first time in 400 years the Israelites are emancipated, set free. Emancipation — to free from bondage, oppression or restraint; to liberate. A portrait of deliverance is painted; as God’s people were set free from bondage in Egypt, so we are in Jesus Christ. Part 2 we will connect the dots of God’s plan for freedom beginning with Israel and our lives today.
