Prayer is Powerful

Billy Graham used to say, “A prayer-less Christian is a power-less Christian.”
We believe this applies to the church as well; which means a praying church is a powerful church!

“LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.” –Habakkuk 3:2, NIV

Intercessory Prayer

Sundays | 9:30 – 10:00 AM | Sanctuary

James 5:16, “The effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much.”

We believe that a praying church is a powerful church, so we have strategic time we pray each week as a church body. You are invited to join us for a time of intercession every Sunday morning, led by Pastor Miel Lindseth.

Praying for Portland

2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
We believe in God’s Word that prayer unlocks the resources of heaven. We invite you to join us in prayer for our church, our lives, and especially as we call on God to bring revival to Portland!

Need Prayer?

There are times when life is overwhelming when all we have is questions. In those moments, hope can feel far away. The great thing about prayer is that it shifts our perspective toward the One who stands ready to listen. If you need immediate prayer or someone to talk to, our pastor-on-call is available for you at (503) 245-7735. No matter what you’re facing, we’d love to pray with you!
