In today’s world, many people want more joy, so they listen to comedy or tell jokes. There are also many people who want more peace, so they turn the noise down or take a break. There are also many who want love in their life, but they’re not sure who to turn to. The advantage the Christian has, is that joy, peace, and love are all results of being led, empowered, and filled with the Holy Spirit. In Sunday’s message, Pastor Nate taught us that the best version of ourselves is when we are filled with and in the flow of the Holy Spirit. With all the alternatives our world has to offer for joy, peace, and love, the Holy Spirit is the only one who promises that when we are filled with Him, these characteristics we all long for, will flow out from our lives.
