Building On Faith

Casting the Vision

Portland Christian Church has been a beacon of hope in the Portland Metro area for 100 years, transforming lives. Rooted in our vision of Loving God, Presenting Hope, and Developing People, we seek to empower every generation to boldly embrace their God-given purpose. Following the 2024 flood that damaged key parts of our facility, we felt led to not only restore what was lost but also to refresh areas long in need of renewal. Through the Building on Faith campaign, we are stepping forward in faith, not just to raise funds but to deepen our collective faith and generosity, ensuring our church continues to reach and impact future generations with God’s love.

Why Now?

Now is the time to act because of a deep passion to share God’s transforming love with all generations. Motivated by Christ’s call to reach the lost, the church believes Portland needs its light more than ever. The journey begins with prayer and faith, inspired by Zechariah 4:7, which reminds us that God’s grace can overcome any obstacle. Members are encouraged to ask God how they can financially support the Building on Faith campaign over the next two years. This is a historic moment for Portland Christian Center to unite and boldly build a church that reflects Christ’s love locally and globally. The call to action: Pray, give, and ask God, “What do you want to do through me?”
