Child Dedication
September 2, 2024
Our Child Dedication service is an opportunity for you as parents to publicly declare your intent to raise your child in a way that honors God and gives the child the opportunity to eventually have a personal relationship with Jesus. It’s also a time for family, friends, and the church body here at PCC to say we will partner with you, and speak life, love, and lots of Jesus into your growing family. We look forward to celebrating this special moment with you and your family!
Sunday at Portland Kids

We are passionate about presenting deep Biblical truth in fun and creative ways kids will love! On Sunday mornings, your kids will have a blast making new friends and learning God’s Word from funny skits, exciting games, and amazing Bible teaching. With a dynamic mixture of large group and small group times, every Sunday morning is packed with fun interaction and personal connections, creating an atmosphere where your kids can experience God in a way they never will forget.
Early Childhood
Sundays at 9:00 & 11:00 AM
When you bring your child to the professional nursery and preschool areas, they will experience fun, safe, and dependable childcare. We want to welcome them into a caring environment designed just for them!
*Check-In happens at our Kids Hub in the Family Center.

Cans + Bottles for Missions
We are starting an exciting campaign where we are collecting cans to be redeemed specifically for Missions. This is an easy and tangible way we can all give and instill the importance of supporting missions with your children.
It’s as easy as 1,2,3…here’s how it works:
- Take a pre-labeled bag
- Fill and take to any Bottle Drop Location
- Bring back to us and we’ll drop it off for you

Parent FAQs
It’s my child’s first time attending Portland Kids. How will they know where to go/what to do?
At Portland Kids, we LOVE our guests. At our manned check-in stations, you will find a friendly host who can help you to input your child’s information, get your security tag/name badge & navigate you to the location of your child’s class. From the minute a child arrives at Portland Kids to the minute they are picked up to go home, we want to make sure they have the most fun and easy experience possible.
As a parent, can I be my child’s classroom teacher?
Many parents are involved with their children in Portland Kids, and our team is always excited to welcome new volunteers who love pouring into the lives of their children. If you would like to become more involved, learn more about the steps to becoming a Portland Kids volunteer HERE.
