If you want to improve your experience of life, then deliberately change your thinking. That’s why Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life.” In Jewish thought, the heart was the center of thinking. The Apostle Paul taught a great deal about how a Christian is to think. In Philippians 4:9, he said, “Think about such things.”

Now he didn’t mean leave it up to whatever pops into your brain, but rather, he was saying that we are to be ruthlessly selective in allowing only certain things to come into your mind. He was referring to the spiritual discipline of setting godly virtues and Biblical values as the gate-keeper of your mind—thinking rightly. In this message, we will explore steps to thinking rightly, a critical teaching for Christians in an age that bombards us with all kinds of confusing and often untrue information.
