God created us with a unlimited capacity to worship—to be dazzled by him. We were made to praise our Maker as long as we breathe. We were designed to be captivated by the wonder of a God who is infinitely worthy of our highest, costliest, most passionate worship. As A. W. Tozer said: “We’re called to an everlasting preoccupation with God.” An everlasting preoccupation — that’s worship. That is our highest purpose and our very reason for being.
